Grey Box Self Storage operate shipping container self-storage units of 10ft, 20ft and 40ft sizes on our sites in the U.K.

Our customers store their personal or business items in the storage containers and have access to their own container and the general site through coded security locks on our main gates.
Our sites are fenced with secure palisade fencing. There are accessed through gates on each site and each gate has a coded padlock. The code for these locks is changed frequently and only our current customers are notified of the code by email.
Each storage container can be locked separately by our customers and we encourage our customers to secure the container using the ‘lock box’ welded on the container doors. When a container is secured using the lock box, it make access almost impossible unless you have a key to the lock. A free ‘lock box lock’ is provided with every container rental.
Locking the storage container is our customers responsibility.
We operate high definition CCTV throughout each site and security flood lighting in all communal areas.
Grey Box Self Storage and its owners take no liability or responsibility for the items stored in storage containers on our site. Each customer must pay to insure the contents of their own storage container themselves.
The container storage sites are not manned by staff, but are checked by mobile security patrols at night.
